I’ve tried surfing only one e before! But after that I quit ! I said “I am NEVEr doing this agin in my life.EVER” to my instructor 😅I don’t know swimming(I’m guilty😂) but still did it and it was very hard! I did raise the waves 2/4times. The other two times I got scared and stuck to the board which is a bad idea! U are supposed to fall back in shallow water if u don’t have balance yet. And I did a roll over under water! And I am deathly scared of swimming (why did I even go there?) but this is just my experience! I’m sure if you weren’t as scared,you would’ve done WAY better than me

Not the knees just do the rest but don't ad the knee bit in trust its much easier to get up and if you go onto your knees its a habit and hard to get out of

I have a doubt whether it can be used as a bot where there is no tide i.e. stand on it
As far as I have seen, they only lie down on it, no one stands

I kinda want to move somewhere where is possible to learn how to surf because Finland has lakes but waves here are about 20cm-50 cm and on Saimaa waves can be about 1.5 meters but only if it storms. And in winter you can even walk on water since all lakes are frozen over.

you are correct. You will spend 2 hours in the water and actually maybe surf for 3 minutes. That's why it is hard to learn. Why do people love it? it is the adrenaline!
