Serious band….but… I cringed at the price on this one too as itâs more expensive than an Apple band. But I pulled the trigger anyway.The construction is no joke and dictates the price so thereâs that. It also fit perfectly in my Spigen case so I didnât have to ditch that. Itâs a solid band and heavyweight. Iâm not nuts though about all the exposed Velcro. Thatâs unnecessary and definitely gonna snag up every stray fiber and hair. Not as rugged as they would have you believe As a surfer, outdoors-man, and archaeologist I am always on the look out for a better more rugged gear to get me through my day and adventures. The watchband is quite plain which is fine and as far as I know one of the only hook-loop based models for the apple watch. The hook and loop system is poor, and does not hold strong enough that I would trust it in the water. For everyday use it is fine but for actual surfing (which I believe it exhibits prominently in the advertising) it will not…
