These are the best shoes! I bought this pair of Olukai Nohea Mesh shoes as we were going on a vacation to Hawaii, and I need a cool comfortable pair of shoes. I read lots of reviews, and decided this was the shoe for me. The reviews advised buying 1/2 size down, which I did, and the shoes fit perfectly.We went on a 1-1/2 mile one way hike to a waterfall on Oahu, and it started raining and it poured. Pretty Awesome, but about a half size too large
If you look at these as slightly-fitted slippers, you will be happy! Very good construction, but the fit is a bit bigger than expected (even after reading the reviews). I’m not sure if the intention is for these shoes to be a bit loose – especially with the flip-down heel, it seems like it might be intended as a slightly-fitted slipper of sorts. I can’t order a half-size down because I find the length of the shoe to be true-to-size. The shoe just seems to be a bit wide all over and a bit big in the heel.
