Just be careful I got this product to fix my 7mil open cell freedive suit that had some tears from a fall on the rocks. One tear was about 4 inches long on the back of the leg and the other was about 2 inches long on a stitched seam just over the knee. Yes, you can repair wet suit tears yourself I own a Tyr wet suit that comes with a repair kit. Yet, the kit has no instructions and one of the products solidified in less than a year even though I had not opened it. Viewed a YouTube video on wet suit repair that featured Seal Cement. The repair process seemed straight forward, and involved only one product, so I bought Seal Cement in lieu of another Tyr repair kit.
