Jaws January 11th 2023 – Best Paddle Session in Years – Insane Barrels and Wipeouts – PEAHI
Biggest Paddle Day in quite sometime as Jaws / Peace goes off. Albee Layer, Billy Kemper, Torrey Meister, Tyler Larronde, Kai Paula, Paige Alms, Ian Walsh, Fransisco Porcella, Nathan Florence, Steve Roberson, Othmane Choufani and more take on massive waves.
After the passing of big wave surfer marcio ‘mad dog’ freire (one of the first guys that started paddling Jaws early on ) a lot of the surfers out there were surfing with his spirit in their minds and everyone charged in honor of Marcio.

Amazing footage. God Damned beautiful. I love a good paddle-in sesh. Massive guns, and balls to the wall. When I see stuff like this I remember, Eddie would go. There should be an Oscar category for best drone footage. Your guy is tops.

why is it better to use the longer boards for the big waves..don't you still need ,or want,to make fast turns?
Never surfed Jaws and I never will, but it still gives me anxiety.
Drone tech has taken surf video to such a high level, its great.

AWWWsome footage of JAWS, kind of reminds me of the north shore waves of Oahu Hawaii back in the 90's. I wish I had the same technology back then. Keep up the outstanding work!!! π―

This wave with teahupoo is the two most beautiful big waves in the world, nazare is a beast and skeleton the perfect long barrel.
First 15 seconds probably the best dron work i have ever seen, the speed and frame cordination is simply perfect, with variations in both moves, true professional.
