Newport Point Big Waves Aug 9, 2024

Locals say that it only happens rarely during summer here in OC. Glad we were able to capture these big wave moments. It was a beautiful chaotic line-up. Everyone’s stoked, some went home with a broken board, or injured and some went home with high spirits.

Here’s a five-minute raw action during that big tropical swell at the point in Newport beach.
